Hi, i filed bankruptcy 3 years ago and it has been discharged i had a car in my name with credit acceptance last year and payed it off this month, i got a 2004 impala from dealer acceptance, my credit score is 555, i am trying to get a 2003 chevy avalanche with 112000 miles on it i was approved for road loans but the company had to be franchised and the car no more than 70000 miles on it which the dealer met neither standard. My question is, is there any way i can get a 14,000 dollar loan for this truck? The truck is for my son but he is underage but does work the car from credit acceptance was his and its now gone and he needs a new truck. I filed bankruptcy because my mortgage holder claimed i missed a payment and manyer lawyer fees later we won the case and proved we payed the payment but then had to file bankruptcy due to lawyer fees and the process. i am currently on land contract to own my house due to poor credit and I just really need to find a way to get this truck, Thanks!
Auto financing?Auto finance is what I do for a living and you have four major problems that will keep you from getting this vehicle.
First you have a open car loan already that you are not trading in.
Second you have a really bad credit score. No lender is going to give you 2 open car loans with this low a score unless you go to a buy here pay here lot.
Third the vehicle has to many miles on it for any Special Finance lender to even look at.
Forth you are trying to buy the vehicle for someone other then yourself. This is called a straw purchase and is against every dealer agreement in the Country.
