Some of you might have read my previous question about my fiance and I. If I should end our engagement, how do i do it? I've never been engaged before. Her parents live 85 miles away and weren't keen on us moving in together for this exact reason. Plus, her cousin is an *** and I wouldn't put it past him to confront me about it. I don't want to deal with either of them. At the moment, the only thing we really share is the lease on the apartment and an auto loan that I co-signed on. Do I tell her to pack her belongings and leave? Do I find a place of my own and let her deal with her stuff? I don't really know how to go through with it. I care about her and don't want to hurt her any more than I know I will. And she's the type of girl that would key my car or smash a window. If things don't change soon, I want out. A doormat - that's a really good analogy for how I feel. So, how do I end something like this? I know she and her family will fly off the handle. Thanks
Engaged - how do I end it?Seems like you got rotten, spoiled princess on your shoulders and became her slave, for reasons you don't even know. Instead of helping her to grown up, you are just helping hers degradation in her selfishness.
Not her, nether you are ready for God-bless, mature and lifelong union.
If at 18 she didn't learn how to take care about herself, it would take a lot of time to teach her and still no warranty that she will learn it.
