What are the legal issues associated with mobile phones/mobile phones contracts? So far I've got bad credit history, like for if you don't make your repayments and you get a default and you cant get loans for 5 years. please help.

if you've already got bad credit history, then for goodness sake, get a pre-paid.
if you show a history of getting black marks on your credit rating, then you will get knocked back for:
a car loan
a credit card
a mortgage!!
i don't know the period of time bad credit marks are kept for - but having a mobile phone which looks good to keep up with your friends is not a good enough reason to get a bad credit history.
