...I just applied for a Lloyds business bank loan (拢10,000) for my Ltd co. It all looks promising (I have good credit history etc) but they want me to act as personal guarantor. I have refused because I don't want a personal loan. Has anyone had similar problem? Did you get the loan anyway?

These days they expect you to stand up to the loan as they are risking their money. If you do accept the offer please remember if the business has problems repaying interest is added.
