2 house payments late,..title to my truck has a lien on it(i borrowed against it), 4 different payday loans, another bank loan payment past due,...shutoff notices,......and to top it all off, my income tax is going to be taken for past child support for my biological child.......plus my wife will be layed off in a week or two.......i have been married for 2 years, i married a woman with 4 children,.....i always was in good financial state before i got married,.....now i am so depressed the thought of doing something stupid to get me out of this mess crosses my mind
Financial woes driving me to think there is no way out!?Okay, the first thing you should do is try to stay focused about getting back on the right track. DO NOT let the finacial woes consume you. It will not help in the long run and most important....NOW IS NOT THE TIME TO FALL APART. It's going to be embarrasing and you'll have to swallow your pride, but call your mortgage lender and/or creditors. Explain that you are having extreme financial difficulties and would like to make some form of payment.
Even if it's $20, it's something. Same thing with the payday loans, call the lenders and say "I'm experiencing extreme financial hardship right now, may I make atleast a $20 payment toward my loan? That's all I can afford right now."
As for the child support, you may need to contact the civil court, BUT explain that you want the best for your child and DO NOT wish to stop making child support payments for their well-being. Instead, you'd like a payment plan that allows you to make the necessary payments within your means.
