In a moment of weakness, I cosigned on a loan with a friend. She has since moved away and ran into some financial hurdles, I guess. Long story short, she supposedly has a job now, and an apartment, but it's been 8 months now and I have been paying off the loan when it wasn't even mine to begin with(it was for here school). Should I get a bank loan and cover it all myself and leave her out of it or is there another way I can get her to pay>? I was thinking of driving out to Wisconsin myself and showing up on her dorrstep, demanding the money!! Help me before I do that!!!

Ahhh...another person learns the pitfalls of co-signing the hard way. Sorry to hear that your 'friend' ditched the payments on you.

Sad to say, you are left to pressure this person on your own. The lender is pleased that they have YOU on the hook, since you are now paying the bill.
