I need to take out a loan to buy car car with no credit or cosigner. Is this possible? Will a bank loan me money? Will the car dealership offer financing?

Sounds to me like you have never accured credit. if your under 18 you need to have someone over 18 Co-sign. Why? Because when your under 18 you can not legally bind yourself to a contract. if your over 18 the best thing to is at least try and see what the dealership will offer. Of course they are more willing to finance you when you have a down payment. Most often 2000 dollars. but some dealers (depending on your credit) will go as low as 500.

You would be better off applying for a loan through a credit union. The interest rates will be lower, and you have a better shot at starting a credit history. If the dealer does finance you, interest rates are going to be high, I'd avoid that option. Applying for the loan before shopping, you know what your price range is and how much your payments will be. You won't be tempted to overspend, and won't be upside down on your loan.
