what is gonna happen to our past bank loan ,are we gonna be given money by our insurance to buy another car and if so does that loan carries on like the previous or do we still owe on the other loan

By written off, I presume you mean totaled. In that case, the insurance co will pay you what they think this car was worth at the time of the accident. This is usually less than what some people owe. You are required to satisfy the loan.

lets say car loan is 1,000 insurance pay 800, you still owe finance 200.

mind you, the finance co cant take the car back

or loan is 1000 insurance pay 1100 you still have to pay the 1000, but keep the 100

you then have to get a new loan for new car
