Should I Go Bankrupt??Consult a debt busting loan company instead. If you go bankrupt it will take 10 years to clear your name.Speak to a financial advisor.Do you have proof of the loan that was taken out for him.It may be possible to take him to court.Do you have Legal Protection on your home insurance.?Debt busting loans are taken out on amounts of 拢15-000 or over.
Should I Go Bankrupt??Ok alot on here are probably going to say no....but I filed and I dont regret anything. First though...have you tried taking him to court??? You may be able to win, it would be worth a try. IF thats not an option....I called around to all the bankruptcy attorneys in our area and asked for prices. I found the chaeper ones and called the Better Business Bureau to be sure they were the same qualified and had no bad reports for any consumers. I found one in my area to do chapter 7 for 900.00 compared to the 2500.00 some charge thats amazing!! Chapter 7 is liquidation. They get a list of everything you own and decide if there is anything worth taking that you dont need. Well we didnt have anything, and alot dont lose anything. Like we have the normal...house, 2 cars, furniture, things like that. No boat, quads ect. I think those are the things they are lookin for. If you have someone you trust before you file, put it in someone elses name (at least a few months). But if they cant take anything (which you can talk to the attorney and see if your at risk of anything before you file so you know) if they cant take anything, then all you do is pay the attorney and thats it. It will be on your credit, but anymore people are willing to give you things in your name since you cannot file again in 7 years. If you file chapter 13 they will consolidate your bills and you pay like your doing now but smaller amounts. They will get the billers to come to an agreed amount that you will pay on. So it will lower the amount. But you also have to pay for the attorney too as well as the bill. Good luck.
