What should i do?? should i postpone my wedding??
The key to financial power lies in your credit rating. If you plan to get a home loan, save money and get better credit starting now!
Take into consideration children, hospital expenses not necessarily caused by children, rent, cars, living expenses in general and you add a $45,000 loan on top, it's a bit heavy.
I would seriously talk to him about the fact that it is a shared relationship in every way. You are right to tell him that it's your bill too once you are married.
Good luck. School is an important investment. I hope you can make a good decision on this.
What should i do?? should i postpone my wedding??Nobody can answer whether you are still ready for the marriage but you.
I will tell you that the ring doesn't magically change things. The man his is now is the same man he will be after you are married, bad financial planning and all. You need to talk to him and see if you can get on the same page. You should be deciding what is best for BOTH of your futures together....this shouldn't be an arbitrary decision that he's just telling you "this is how its going to be". This sounds like a very risky career move and based on your other questions it seems that you two havn't quite gotten in agreement on what your long term plans are. Until you get that straight I would say it's time to postpone.
I'm sorry honey but taking out a 20 year loan for something as chancy as film school just isn't a smart move. Most people don't even take out 20 year loans on their houses! There are dreams and there are reality....unfortunately they don't always match up.
