Can my wife claim me as a dependent or claim head of household?

My wife and I got married in July of last year but we lived in her house beginning in March. I opened my own business in late 2006 and put much of my money into the business as a long to the company. In 2007, the majority of the money I took out of the biz was to repay the loan I made to the biz. Once it was repaid, I then drew a salary check that only amount to 3k by the end of 2007. My wife's income went to the house, groceries, etc. Since she paid most of the household expenses, can she claim me as a dependent (we are filing separarely) we me aware that on my return I would have to list that I am being claimed as a dependent on her return? If so, would this make her head of household?

Can my wife claim me as a dependent or claim head of household?NOPE.
You're married on last day of year, so can file jointly or separately ONLY: MFJ or MFS. That way you get the exemptions (2) for each of you on return. Doesn't matter where income comes from at all. But being married, neither takes the other as dependent. It's almost always best to file jointly, but you can figure it out both ways. Without children you guys are neither one Head of Household, just MFS. And you lose the ability to get many credits by filing that way. Generally NOT a good idea to file MFS. Why do you want to do so?
