I recently purchased a 2002 Ford Explorer for my business. The dealership came & repossed the truck, even though there is NO LEIN HOLDER on the vehicle. Do they have a legal right to the vehicle if there was no loan on the vehicle, and no collertal listed when the vehicle was purchased? As I stated... There is no lein holder listed on the vehicle title, and I did not have a loan when I purchased the vehicle.

Either you were scammed or someone tried to scam the dealer. Fortunately, the dealer got back the collateral without losing more money. As for you, what happened to your checking account and maybe expect to answer some questions from the authorities.
