My husband and I both work, he has been starting up his business and although he has been working hard, has not made much money yet, although he will in the next few months. I work in commission sales and have been supporting our family financially for almost 2 years. We borrowed money from my father last month to make ends meet, and the loan due this week. My husband had a payment due to him this week, which would have more than covered the loan, but it got delayed until next month. I know my dad will have no problem waiting until next month to be repaid, but my husband is too chicken to call him and talk to him about this. He has had a good relationship with my dad for 17 years, so it is not like he doesn't know him. I resent the fact that he is making it my problem, and feel that if he can't support his own family, the least he can do is own up to this responsibility with my dad. Am I being unreasonable?
