I too applied for a 10,000 loan w/them.they wanted a down pymt of $1000.00 for good faith pymt. 6.5 percent rate. Which Ithought wow, for some one with a credit score for 510.this is too good to be true. I checked in canada, I couldnt find them I looked up there address 357 university ave. prince edward island. no such address. they say thier name is a trademark, I still couldnt locate them. I looked up the business better bureau,they are not a member (although on their website:www.mitsukolending.com they say they are.So What did I do, I called phone busters in canada to report them. Because it is against the law to request money upfront for any personal loan. It would be nice if someone in canada that lives there can check.

Mitsuko lending; scam?I have the same situation as you. they emailed me the contract 10,000 6.5%. they wanted $1000 but told me it was for insurance and would come off the balance of the loan. I have about the same credit as you so i thought the same thing... to good to be true. so i also did some checking on them. I called the better business bureau in Canada. they could not find the company. they said they sent them more then one letter about there company and the letters were returned. She also told me that when there is the BBB reliability stamp on a web site and you put your courser on it the arrow should turn to a hand if it dint its not a real stamp. I also reported them to phone busters. I really hoped it was a real company and not a scam since i also have bad credit and am in need of a loan. I am still looking if I find anything i will be sure to let you know.
