There isn't a "best way" to get out of a car loan. The best way is to keep making the payments as you promised to do when you signed the contract. Why can't you make the payments? Did they go up or something? You should be looking for ways to make more money, not try to back out of your obligations.

i think it depends on the insurance you have on the loan.. some loans offer a plan just incase you can't make your payments for some reason or another.. but i think you have to pay a bit extra for that over time.. and you should already know if you have that or not..

other than that option i think your best bet is too see if you can talk someone into lending you the money for the payment and pay them back when you can..

or sell the car..and that person will agree to keep up the payments.. you'll have to make some paperwork changes though
