Question.. how does one take care of an overdrawn account that you have with a banking checking account? I currently have an overdrawn account that needs to be taken care of ASAP and currently withouyt the cash to do so. I payed 200 off of it today but still 168.03 short. what do you reccomend? and yes im a college student on student loans with no money as usual and no job and mother does not know about this since this happened before when a person stole my atm card and went on a shopping spree..

Call the bank and let them know your situation. Let them know that you are trying to pay the amount, but have the obligations you listed. Give then a reasonable date for when you expect to be able to pay the money. Creditors are much more lenient if they know you have a plan for repaying the money, instead of vague promises and excuses.

Then, do what you need to do to earn the money. Check your student life office - there are always jobs for tutors, food service, etc. Take a crap job for a few months until you can pay off your debt and establish a "cushion" in your account.
