I have an old 拢10 premium savings bond, can this be exchanged still?Yes, the value stil hold true on the bond but the money on the premium bond belongs to the holder.
Thats where you might have a problem. Its not the age of it.
I recently got back a 拢1 premium bond from 1960. Unfortunately it never won a bean.
Your problem is that it hasn't got your name on it. They won't just give you the money without you proving you are entitled to it.
If you great grandma has passed away then it would go to next of kin or whoever she willed the money to.
Getting the 拢10 under these circumstances may be a bit of a hassle.
What I would do is go onto the website. It could be that this has won in the past and no one knows????
It may then be worth the hassle :-)
Good luck
