I signed up for two credit cards for their benefits.
You see, I am very careful with my finances, and would never ever overspend or buy something I do not have money for (except college loans). So I figured might as well get the benefits credit cards offer. It appears that both the cards I signed up for say that I have a 20 day period to pay them back.
That means it is possible to use them without paying interest right?
Do they send me a bill before the grace period? Or do I have to pay them myself within the time limit?
Its just that I have seen a lot of discussion online about interest rates. Like the following line:
Try using a credit card that gives you cash back, but this is only worth it if the card doesn't charge a big interest rate
If I plan to pay the card back right away, do I have to care about the interest?
(I signed up for the Amazon Credit card for example).
I signed up for two credit cards for their benefits. It is possible to use them without paying interest right?Yes...I have a card that i get 2% cash back from and i use it to buy everything. I pay it off every month. If you dont pay it off every month, then the interest starts right after your grace period.
I signed up for two credit cards for their benefits. It is possible to use them without paying interest right? If you pay your entire balance in full prior to the due date you avoid paying interest.
I signed up for two credit cards for their benefits. It is possible to use them without paying interest right?Just make sure you pay the full amount back you spend each month on time and there won't be any interest charges
