Before my husband and I married a friend of mine wanted me to have a home for my son so she offered to sell me a house for a very low price but still more cash than I had. I had 2 choices make payments or get it financed. I checked into financing because I didnt want money to ever be an issue between my friend and I when my phiance went behind my back and talked to his Mom who then offered the money we needed as a wedding gift. I didnt like it but wanted her to feel included in our lives so I let her write the check I had some back student loans and couldnt put the house in my name my phiance said we could put it in his and he promised to never take it from me. Even his Mom promised the house would always be mine. Now out of the blue my husband decided after 7 months he doesnt want to be married anymore and he wants the house. Since it was in his name before the wedding I was told he can take it even though it was promised to me and I made 30k improvements. ADVICE PLEASE

If your phiance and his mom promised you the house then you have the right to deserve the house.
You should fight for the house and try to insist your phiance to give you the house or take this to the court.
This is the best you can do.
