Hello All!
I am 24 and my fiance is 27, we are currently doing research into forming an LLC and starting a successful business.
We have about $15,000 saved up for this, and could probably get another 10K to 15K cash in family gifts. I have excellent credit (over 700) and his credit is around 660, so I don't think we'd have a hard time getting business loans. (Right?)
Currently we are trying to think of some smart and lucrative business ventures. Initially we were saving $ to flip houses.. but w/ the market the way it is, I think we will postpone that idea until the market picks back up.
Any ideas? We currently live in Long Island NY. We will be moving late 2009/early 2010, but we are unsure where b/c my fiance is a LT in the Army and we're unsure where he will be stationed.
Im very good w/ numbers (acct/finance background)... he's very good w/ people (mgt, etc)...but we need ideas!! Please Help!! Of course we'd love to make a lot of profit!! THANKS!
Starting a small business... possible LLC.?from personal experience it is hard to get a business loan for a company that is just starting out, no matter what YOUR credit is. they want to see what the company does before they will give the company a loan. it might be better to take out a personal loan and use that for your company. as to what type of company...well if he is in the army you'll be moving around and it will be hard to make an established company. as soon as it is really getting going your have to move again. it has to be something via the Internet so it can move with you. GOOD LUCK!!!!
