I'm currently considering going to Uni this September but I already have credit card debts / bank loans from working crappy min wage jobs for the last four years. I really don't want to get into even more debt as I'm already struggling to buy basics like food!

I have been considering doing something like pole dancing for a while and was wondering if I'd actually be able to do it.

Not in the emotional side of things, as I've been looking after myself since I was 16, I'm very independant and have confidence.

I'm just worried I won't even get asked to audition on how I look. I don't have big boobs (I'm an A cup), I'm a size 6/8 and I'm 5"2.

I have so much admiration and respect for pole dancers, I see it as a great way to keep fit, build even more confidence and to just have a good time and make a bit of cash!

One last thing I wanted to ask is, if you're required to take your clothes off? Sorry if that sounds stupid question but I'm interested in pole dancing & not stripping.

What do you have to do to be a good pole dancer?

I would say work on stretching regularly to loosen up your limbs. You need to be fit so the pole dancing classes are good for fitness and technique. Also you may need to do some extra exercise like running.

I think it sounds like a good idea and you may be able to find a club that will allow the dancers to keep lingerie on - that will involve phoning about your local area though.
