You could also call Sears and tell them you want to work things out with them. Tell them how much you can afford to pay per month. They will try to work with you. You can get them to call their manager to talk to you if they start trying to give you flak. I worked with Consumer Credit Counseling Services in the Greater Kansas City Area and they helped out a lot. I finally wound up needing to file for BK, but there were a lot more issues than just two cards. I did get a couple of them completely paid off through CCCS, though. Good luck with that.
