it accepts it but when i check my payment option, there's a 5 digit number that isn't even on the card!
Where is that coming from?

I'm talking about how when ever i try to make a purchase and enter the number and card holders name and all, it continues but where it says payment option theres a 5(for sure) digit number that i have no clue where they got it from.
It's not printed on the card.

When i try ordering something with a credit card on amazon.com......(Best answer and thumbs up if you solve)?I just checked (I was actually planning to order a book from Amazon later tonight anyway) and the five digits that show up when I try to place an order, right under where it says "payment method", are the last five digits of the credit card that Amazon has on record for me. (The next line shows the expiration date for that same card.)
You must have used a different card the last time you placed an order, and they remember those five digits.
It's not a problem. All you have to do is click "change" and you can enter the new information for the card you want to use today.
