I am looking for a credit card...any suggestions?Well there are better ways to get your credit built up then to get a credit card. I personally wouldn't suggest getting one. My bank will generally give a new credit person a $500 loan with no problems. I would see if you bank could do something like that. Pay the loan off as scheduled. Make all the payments with just a little extra as not to incur too much interest. That shows good payments and stuff like that. Do that a few times and you should have good credit. You don't even have to use the money out of the loan. You can use the money from the loan to pay off the loan. That's what I suggest. NO CREDIT CARDS!! THEY ARE EVIL!
I am looking for a credit card...any suggestions?Well if you are planning on getting a credit card to build your credit, you should first decide that you will be paying your balance in full every month and although the APR is very important, it will not be as important if you are paying your balance in full. If you are now starting to build credit, you may not be lucky enough to get a low APR. You should look for cards with no annual fee. You should also look for a card with benefits(miles, rewards, points) but unfortunately those cards tend to have fees and high rates but not all. Do a search at different sites like chase, citibank, and discover and choose which is best for you. Remember not to fall into the debt trap....decide now to pay your balances in full!
