Should I take job as a financial aid advisor or higher paying job?
The key to financial power lies in your credit rating. If you plan to get a home loan, save money and get better credit starting now!
Recently I interviewed for a position as a financial aid advisor. The postition pays $32,000-35,000 (i live in NJ)...but I have recently been offered an office manager position for $40,000
The financial aid position offers free schooling for myself, children, & spouse...(I am single and no children though) and I have a b.s in finance with loan payments kicking in soon as well...I own a home and have alot of debt....I am worried about taking a low paying position for free school perk, but feel with more education maybe I would be able to get a better job later on...the office manager job is salaried and requires long hours!!
Should I take job as a financial aid advisor or higher paying job?Are there any programs you are interested in to take advantage of a tuition waiver? Make sure you read the fine print too, waivers usually require you to register last so classes that are normally running at capacity may not get you a seat.
