I am looking to get a small limit credit card for minor emergencies. I want like a 200 dollar limit or less. I have OK credit but there are a few outstanding things. All adding up to less than 500 dollars. I only have an open car loan, no mortgage or student loans. I used to have a capital one card. I did not like them. I paid that card off & closed the account due to poor customer service. What other companies can I go through, other than a bank, that are reputable?

Go to your public library and ask for the current (last month's) Consumer Reports and read the article. Some credit unions will let you join and some won't- the CU article tells you about this also.
