HELLLLLP!!! ATMs, Travellers Checks or Credit Car in BKK?????
The key to financial power lies in your credit rating. If you plan to get a home loan, save money and get better credit starting now!
My recommendation is therefore to do as many payments as possible by credit card (Visa, AMEX) and bring only a small amount in TC based on what you estimate to have of cash needs.
HELLLLLP!!! ATMs, Travellers Checks or Credit Car in BKK?????I hope you can sort your problem. to draw money from ATM machines I take with a debit card and credit card and some cash.I don't know if you have this system in Canada but in England we have a debit card which enables us to draw out cash from our back accounts and you do not have to pay for this service. That's what I usually do,but make sure you have enough in your account. You will find the banks are most helpful in Thailand, but the money changers in the street are very kosher and you will get a good rate of exchange. When you arrive at Bangkok you will see a money exchange where you might like to change a few pounds(Dollars) into bahts and the rate is usually quite good for an airport.I think at the moment it is about 68bahts to the pound so if they offer you about 64 -65 that is good for airports.I think you do not need anymore information on currency or plastic cards you must have quite a lot of information on this subject so just go and enjoy yourself and do not worry have a great time.Yes you are a friendly Canadian and I have a Canadian friend who Lives and works in Bangkok and she has lived there for at least five years and loves it there.
