We met two years ago online. Then lost touch. We found each other again and things are moving at an alarming rate (mentally). I've been talking on the phone with him, we've exchanged numerous emails (poems, life, overall feelings, etc.). I really like this man. He is rich, which doesn't hurt either. He has access to loads of women but is the respectable, down-home, want to go home to his lady type, and wants to do that with me. I like him too. I want to be adored as well. But, he lives about 3000 miles away, I've never met him in person, and he seems very serious about wanting me in his life already. I'm afraid, though I'm beginning to fall for him as well. I will see him soon, but in the meantime, what can I say to tone things down? Will I hurt his ego? Will he think I'm not interested and run away? I just don't think its wise to rush, but my instincts say, go for it. Could he possibly be my teddy bear miles and miles away???

You said it your self you've never met this man right? See what a lot of people don't understand is when you get into an online relationship you really and truly don't know who the person you are messing around with is. Yeah, you talked on the phone, yeah you sent emails and stuff. But my thought is he could be just telling you all this stuff too. Just tell him it is going to fast and you need it to slow down.
