i have a BS and am going back to school.
I start Nursing school in Aug and am afraid i will be denied for any more loans....i need help figuring out how to pay for nursing school!!!! fast!!!

After your first year of nursing school, you can be "promoted" to nurse extern. After your second year of nursing school, until you pass your bords you can be "promoted" to nurse tech. Each "promotion" you will earn more money. If you work at least part-time, you will always get benefits too! hope this helps!

You can narrow it down to getting scholarships just for nursing school, or they have some just for people entering the medical field. You can get a single parent scholarship. You can get student loans. You can take a bank loan. Most of the time you will not get denied on a student loan but i would not do this unless i have to. You might want to compare the interest rates on them also. There are other types of grants out there. You might try going to google and searching Lousiana grants. Thats what i done. It works better. Just all kinds of things. Google is good to search grants and scholarships but the best things i have found is fastweb.com for scholarships. Its great.
