Bottom line is that you must make the decision and be willing to live with the consequences --good or bad. My one suggestion is to finish out this quarter, so you don't have bad grades haunting you when you return to college. There are a lot of successful people out there with no college education. And, as you said, there are plenty of college educated people who have less than wonderful jobs. consider an internship, job shadowing, or apprenticeship. Try out different kinds of Jobs and talk to everyone about their jobs. Do they like it , what are their duties etc. ? The trick is to find something that you really love doing and that actually pays you to do it. That way you really don't have to work much, just sit back and enjoy.
I have no idea what I want to study and I'm wasting money, is dropping ut of college the best thing to do?Yes, it is a good decision. It's not worth paying all that tuition if you don't have a goal of what you plan on doing. Take a quarter or two off and do a little searching or maybe even job shadow the hell out of everyone. Anyways, good luck!
I have no idea what I want to study and I'm wasting money, is dropping ut of college the best thing to do?You are the only one who can make that decision. Take a look at all the majors your college offers and look at the requirements of each. Decide if any of them interest you and then talk to some people in that field. Doing a little research may make the choice easier for you. No matter what when you get out of college you will have to do something.

Alicia
