So, as you already know, your best bet is to sell your jeep on your own, take the money you have left and go buy something from an individual, pay cash, be done with that one. Then go find the new vehicle and only negotiate price, and get financing before you go there.

Yes, it is possible but not to your benefit. Just about anything is possible at a car dealership if you have enough credit to justify a loan...they will find a way and it is usually their way.

I once traded in two cars to the dealer for one. The opposite of your situation, but same principle. I got screwed a bit, but not too bad. I was willing to get a little screw rather than sell both vehicles on my own. The pain in the @ss factor is worth a lot to me...but it probably cost me 3 grand to not want to go thru the trouble of selling on my own. I try not to think about it, as the time it would have taken me to sell the two cars on my own was no where near worth 3 grand. I just didn't want to do it..but should have.

The Jeep isn't worth enough for one trade. How do expect to get two vehicles out of it? The dealer would probably only give a couple grand for it. Unless you really want to go in the hole,I would find a better idea. Other wise your going to really make some salesman day.

I never understand this kind of logic??? Youhave a car that runs. You want to trade it for another car and get even another car with payments??? Why not just keep the Jeep and get another car???

Yes you can trade 1 for two, however will the dealer give you the $4m-$5m you have in equity? Make sure you check the "trade in value" of your jeep, not what you could sell it for. This will usaully be $1000 - $2000 less. I would also not combine the loans into one for the two cars.
