The bottom line is that the legal profession/business isn't what it used to be. Moreover, most people go to law school looking for a job and expecting a fabulous career. While it is true that some attorneys find high-paying jobs that nurture them towards a fulfilling career, most people who are not from means OR attending the top tier schools find the financial considerations and the challenges associated with business development more than what they bargained for.
Hopefully I did not discourage you. This is truly what you need to hear and I just may be the only one honest enough to tell you that.
