I'm not going to argue about the economic situation where you are, but, did you ever think some of that might be due to local politics?? Maybe worth checking out before next election. My question to you would be, if you are so bad off now, you think higher taxes are going to put more money in your pocket?? How so?

the conservative approach can be a good one, when not filled with special interests like Bush's government... Notice one thing, the cost of gasoline, tripled, the cost of health care doubled, the cost of local property taxes have almost doubled, school systems across the country are losing sports teams and arts programs, all so the average median person gets an extra 200 bucks to pay for these increases and the average rich person gets a million(ask Warren Buffet how he feels about Bush's cuts, he's a pretty stand up guy and a great example of how we've been sold a bill of goods)
