I've been friends with this girl for 3 years well lately she's giving my name out for reference's which is fine..but none of the places has ever called to ask what i think about her or anything. Now they keep callin gme because she's behind on her car payments and she's got 3 different loans out and she went to one of those places and got a fast cash thing..well they all keep calling me!!! My phone rings more for her then it does for me!! And when i confronted her about it she said to tell them she moved..and she didnt...im really aggervated at her...i keep giving them her new numbers but she wont answer so they keep calling me...what do i do to not sound snotty but to tell them to leave me alone that its not my problem?!??!

Demand to speak to their manager and demand that you stop receiving these calls. They are not allowed to harass you for someone else's debts. Tell the manager that. This should stop the calls. Also, I would have a talk with the "friend" and tell her she can no longer use you as a reference under any circumstances.

This friend of your is not a true friend at all. time to move on and get a new cell phone and if you don't want to change your phone number, get a lawyer

Tell them not to call you anymore, and if they do that you will take it to the police. And then to be funny, tell them that if they keep call your gonna have to put them in your fave 5 because they call so much, and they are running up your phone bill
