finance major with a minor in business or real estate or accounting. and if you can find a school with a bloomberg terminal go there and use the heck out of that machine and get certified if you can do that you are in the financial world

You could go at night and times that may be more convenient. Are you sure you want an office job? You may want to look at Employer Outlook Quarterly magazine for top jobs. My husband is in accounting. It pays well, but there are a lot of layoffs right now with slumping economy. There are always openings in education (especially Math, Science, Special Ed) and nursing, and some other fields.
You can get good pay as a CNA (Certified Nursing Asst) with only a year or less of school and work toward your LPN then your RN as you work. The pay is really good.
College is 98% hard work and not all book smart. Know when you need help and see the professor early. If you want to do this, you WILL.
If you love computer work, once again consider a technical school to build confidence and it usually costs less too.
