I was considering taking up an APLE forgiveness loan to pay down my existing federal student loans. Does anyone have experience with the loan and if so what was it bad or good? Does it have a variable interest rate? Can I take out any amount I need? Also, the loan allows you to up to 19,000 for reimbursement. How does that work if they only reimburse 11,000 for 4 years of work at a needy school?

I have never heard of this program. You know federal Stafford and Perkins loans have similar forgiveness policies... without the middle man.
