I was recently accepted to a four year college... i received a $32,000 scholarship from the college to get a nursing degree... my tuition is $20,000 a year... I was wondering if you knew any good websites where I can find more scholarships and grants for undergraduate students seeking a bachelors degree in nursing... I have searched online but all I seem to keep running into is scholarships for already established nurses..Like LPNs and RNs who want to get their BSN... I know most hospitals have loan forgiveness and once i graduate i can apply for one of those, once i start working, but I really dont want to take out that many loans right now... I am only 18 and dont have any credit which mean im going to need a cosigner, and my parents credit is terrible...
BSN(nursing) Scholarships...help?There are alot of grants and scholarships out there for prospective nurses, being as though that field is really in demand right now... The college should help you...There is actually the federal stafford loans and the the federal nursing loans...these two loans do not need a cosigner and doesnt go by the basis of your credit.... You can also file for financial aid...depending on which state your in you can get alot of state grants and scholarships... Like i live in PA...We have the PEll grant...when i was in school they paid $2000 a year... I dont really know any websites with scholarships for nurses but if you search you will find one...Actually if you try to get a job in a hospital right now...they will actually pay for you to go to school and get your nursing degree...I work at a hospital and they are paying for me to go to school to become a respiratory therapist....
