To be honest, I've struggled financially and I'm not judging anyone with my answer. But you can't deny Americans are definitely consumers by nature.

It is not a metter of been American or not Im 23 I have no credit cards just like two I don't owe anything I have a morgage I don't spend more that what I can and I try to define what is that I want ,that I need,and what I have that is all I buy some spensive thing when I have extra always cash and never touch my savings for silly thigs. I drive a SUV and have a husband 20 years older than me who helps me on everything that may be my secreat I own real state siense I got marry when I was 17 lucky me.Ho and I have two dogs and still not happy at all.

Hey it's a free competitive country with winners and losers. People will always take advantage of others no matter what country. The greedy house flippers got burned. But some got burned seeking the American dream of owning a house that shouldn't have been approved but were due to greedy loan officers. The bank giving a mortgage should have to hold it for at least a year so they can't pass the buck.
