I have read your additional comments, and I say this with sincerity: You and your husband should do what is best for the two of you. This is your marriage and you can always listen to what your mom has to say, but ultimately it's your decision. It's okay to kindly disagree with you mom. If you feel like you guys are ready to have a child, then it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks.

i understand what your saying , your parents still see you as a child , so they treat you like one, since you have always been a child to them and havent been an adult for a long enough period your just wondering how you can break free of them and their advice. First it takes parents a LONGGGGGGGGGGGGG time to see their child as an adult, i moved out when i was 18 , married when i was 19 had my kid when i was 22 and im 28 now , and i think just within the past year my parents have started seeing me as an adult lol . When i told my mother i was pregnant she hung up on me , she was really mad lol , i later learned just because she thought i was too young ( older then she was) and she was to young to be a grandmother. Your just going to have to not let what they think about you bother you . If you want another dog, your the one who cleans up after it , who buys the food for it , who walks it etc... its your decision , you have to start thinking like an adult. If you want a baby , if you think you and your hubby are ready for one , and that you can provide for one , then by all means have a baby , who cares what your parents think , they wont be waking up in the middle of night changing poopy diapers YOU WILL! you just have to change your way of thinking. You are an adult you have a job, you pay bills, you live by yourself , your married, what your parents have to say should still matter to you , but you dont have to jump at every command . so to sum it all up , quit being a mamas girl !!!! and be a woman!
