is there any loan officers out there?? i need your help. should i take out a loan of $10,000

to pay my bills off of $8,000 ?? would you consider this indept? i do pay my bills each month but i would like to pay them off sooner. any suggestions?? thanks

You get into one debt to pay off another debt of similar size only if the interest rate is lower to save on interest.

If you would like to pay them off sooner, then make extra payment over the monthly minimum payments.

If you take out a loan to pay off your debts, guess what - you're still in debt!! You just owe the money to a different company. And the interest you pay on the loan might not be any better than the interest you pay on your debts already.

Call the American Consumer Counseling Center - unlike a lot of those "debt solution" places, this is a non-profit and won't take your money. They can give you some great counseling and advise you on the best options for your particular situation.
