My Union job as a Merchant Marine Radio Officer has disappeard. I have lived in Thailand for 10 years and have 14 dependents from age 84 to 3. Last year I worked one week. At age 60 I am finding that looking for new work is discouraging and difficult. We are reduced to living of loans from loan sharks and are at the point that we have to borrow just to meet the monthly interest. Ideas? I want to work , but where?
