i have poor credit rating and would like to get a loan. already have one with provident

Advice on loans?This is probably not what you want to hear but things must be bad if you have a loan from Provident. Their interest rates equate to highway robbery. Perhaps you need to look at ways of boosting your income to clear your existing loan quicker and getting on your feet again.
Advice on loans?Provident? that must be high interest. But any loan you take out and you keep up with the payments should improve your credit rating. But I am not sure this applies with Provident. The only way to improve your credit rating is keep up with any payments you are making to anyone. We all have a rating. You can view your own through someone like Experian. Dont fall for the firt company that offer you a loan, especially with a low credit rating, you will end up paying more interest than you would at a high street bank.
Advice on loans?Try Welcome Finance. The interest they charge is prohibitive but they helped me and my credit used to be HORRID! Within 6 months of making regular payments I was able to approach my bank and transfer to a loan with a more reasonable interest rate, which I used to pay off Welcome. Several other people I know have done the same!
