What would be a decent interest rate I could get on a car loan with an average FICO score of 640 with a co-signer with an 820 average FICO score. I have a good county government job and I've worked there for a year. I make decent money and have no outstading debts (except college loans). My credit history isn't great, but I have worked hard to pay off all debts and be on time with my bills. What do you think??

Average interest rate??The just changed the rules to minimize the impact of a co-signer on your loan. They would most likely look just at your credit rating and do that based on your FICO score. The reason that they changed this was people getting strangers to co-sign that had great credit scores to make them look better.
