Nope. I have a set limit, this year it is 拢200 per child (i have 2). I get what i can within their limit. Anything else they can buy themselves after Xmas, if they get enough money.

I have finished my shopping now and have stayed within my budget.

We all want to give our kids the things we couldn't have when we were young but the cost of doing so almost bankrupts us every time! i don't give in at all, if i can't afford i don't buy, simple as that!

I wont get into debt for Xmas, my son has been brought up to appreciate everything he gets and knows the value of money,he is thankful for the smallest of presents, if there is one thing he really wants then I do try my best to get him it but if I can't then he doesn't mind.
