If there were all these people who didn't realise that their interest rates were going to go so high that no one could even afford to pay the interest on all these adjustable rate mortgages wouldn't be in such dire straights, and loosing everything. being promnised a low interest rate so you can afford a $300,000.00 loan for $250.00 a month would make anyone want the loan, but I bet know one knew the rates would sky rocket on them. They signed the contract, they knew the interest rate would go up. Any fool taking a 300K loan at 250 without knowing they were doing something stupid deserves to lose the house.
