Is there anywhere in the UK that will help you with the inital start-up of a business, I mean if you dont have the funds to be able to buy stock for the first few months etc they will give you a loan or a grant to get it. I dont want a loan off a bank, I am more meaning organisations etc.
Need the initial help?You can get some help in certain areas of the country and if you meet certain criteria. I got help last year from my local enterprise agency. It was for marketing and I had to put in the same amount as they did. I only got the money because I live in a rural area and I'm female, ie I am a deprived person!
You need to find out about your local enterprise agency or business link, whatever they are called where you live. There are also lots of websites for people starting their own businesses, eg http://www.startupcommunity.co.uk/
