I don't know much about mortgages but it's pretty well a loan from the bank to buy a house right? I really want a C leg ( an amazing prosthetic knee) Every time I see someone with it I wish I could have it.
My provincial government doesn't pay for any Prosthetic devices. My insurance only covers so much, and the charity that pays for the rest can't afford to pay the 50 thousand needed for one. I know one person who has it and she had a fundraiser for it. I'm heavily involved in local community theatre and if it comes down to it I will do a sort of event to raise the money. But I don't really think it is right of me to do that. If someone else offered to do it then I wouldn't feel as bad but no one in the community has.
Is it possible to get 50 thousand added on to the mortgage to pay for this knee? Or would it be possible to get another loan to do it?
When you get a mortgage can you add on money for prosthetic devices? You could get an extra 50,000 tacked onto your mortgage to pay bills, so I don't know any reason why it couldn't be for a new knee. I didn't want extra money tacked onto to my mortgage and the guy kept pressuring me saying I was going to need it for moving costs and new furniture and stuff and finally let him round it up so I got 6,000 in cash.
When you get a mortgage can you add on money for prosthetic devices?I live in Louisiana and I have never heard of this. I think you should consult a real estate attorney since it is involvong your house and adding on to your loan on your house. Also, have you consulted your doctor? Will this really help you?
