Why does florida require a married person to put thier spouse on a new mortgage .?because they feel more comfortable knowing there is one more person that they can go after. same with insurence rates with some companies. if u have a license and ur spouce does not u will not get insurence. as far as their being a way around this u would have to call a lawyer. they can tell u yes or no for sure. usually there is a way around everything. it could just be who u r getting ur mortgage from
