I signed my loan docs on early Thursday afternoon (March 27, 2008). my docs were faxed over to the lender's office that same day. when will my loan be funded and recorded? The seller will not give me the keys until the loan is funded/recorded. my finance lady is saying Monday (March 31, 2008). I have to be out of my apartment on April 1, 2008 or pay the pro rated charge daily. Also, should this be my responsibility to pay if I have to pay the pro rated charge daily? I was given the Ok to give a 30 day notice by my finance lady for Marcy 1, 2008. Please advise. This entire process has been extremely stressful.
First time home-buyer closing?I dont know how long it will take for the loan to be recorded, however, it is your responsibility to pay for you apartment if you have to stay longer, for finance person just gave you and educated guess. You cannot hold them resopsable for extra rent.......you can but no one will pay it for you, hold up happen in things like this it just happens. Good luck to you, enjoy home ownership!
First time home-buyer closing?You might want to ask the escrow department that is handling your transaction. They will be able to give a better estimate on the time frames. The payment of your rent is required to be paid if your going to stay. You can only try to make moving out coincide as best as possible. Real Estate transactions can become very unpredictable.. Its almost over hang in there.

Friday was NOT a holiday.
To me...that REEKS of a major problem.
Call your CLOSING ATTORNEY FIRST THING MONDAY MORNING...remember, he represents YOU and NOT the sellers.
