Last summer - I took out a payday loan from Ameriloan. I had problems with my bank account and the Ameriloan payment bounced. This happened once and several days later I paid the loan off completely (August). Everything was going splendid in November I get a call from Pinion Mgmt. with them saying I owe Ameriloan money. I told the fellow I paid it off and he said he'd look into it. I hear from them again in December - and @ this time I faxed them my receipt for payment. They called me several weeks later & said I owed them money again... I got very frustrated with the guy and faxed the information again. I called verify he got it he said yes and that they're looking into it. I hear from them again today and they're saying that - yes they received the 195 payment - but that was only for the bounce check fee... First - it only bounced once! I called the day I paid it off to verify the amount of the loan. I paid it off completely - HOW DO I GET THEM OFF MY BACK? Are they legit
Have you heard of Pinion Management or Ameriloan?These seem like bad people. They also did the same thing to my mother. Please make sure they do not have your account information and do not give them info about your bank over the telephone. Do everything by written correspondence and if you have a lawyer friend, ask them to draft a letter to this organization along with your verification of payment. Also you can write an affidavit swearing to the facts that you've told us and get that notarized to go along with the other information you have provided. I hate those people and wish them all very bad luck.
